So if anyone on here follows me on Twitter, you can probably get a feel of what my political alignment is. I'm a progressively prone jackass who hasn't got time for racists, sexists, homophobes, transphobes... look anyone who is hateful or bigoted, I'm pretty much against all that. So in my country of England just had an election which was touted as a once in a generation election that could define a generation for years to come. A big part of my country decided to vote for the man who has a history of making terrible remarks, his policies are going to damage the country and put several marginalised people at risk instead of the guy with a more progressive policy and yeah, I'm pissed and I was looking through myTwitter seeing people getting all shocked and trying to cope with the fact that this country might loose it's nationalised health service by the likes of George W. Bush: UK. It's pretty grim and I really don't know what to do. I'm not really a big influencer, but right now feel like that I'm at a turning point and I need to take a stand, what would I do if I was in Germany in the 30's at that point or the Civil Rights Movement. I don't think reaching across the aisle is going to do anything because resentment is going go through the roof. All I can say is resist, protest an fight. Stay angry and active and make sure that your voice is heard and kick those dirty fuckers out.
Peace.
