Watch This Space Quick Look: The Mandalorian Breakdown

So, Star Wars Celebration was this weekend at it was a biggy. We had trailers for Star Wars Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, Jedi: Fallen Order and the Clone Wars revival, but one thing I'm excited fro in this crop of content is the live-action TV series for Disney+ The Mandalorian. An original TV series, set in the criminal underworld and about a gunslinger Mandalorian (played by Pedro Pascal) and his western like adventures. It looks good, cast is great and I'm pretty much excited. I'm now going to breakdown what we've been told and what I think will happen, because the internet is like this and I liked writing the Resistance quick look. The Plot

So, this is an eight episode series, so it will be probably tight and focused, unlike the Marvel Netflix show and judging by the footage shown at Celebration, which is presumably from the first episode. The footage begun with the Mandalorian discussion bounties with Carl Weathers' character Greef Carga, another Mandalorian who works with the Bounty Hunter's Guild, (bounty hunter union). He gives him a super secret job that is to deliver something to Werner Herzog's character an ex-Imperial and his group of stormtroopers along with Omid Abathi's character, a scientist judging by his dress code, also Herzog calls him Doctor Perrin or something, they didn't mention his name. That where the clip ended and just showed the trailer, so plot speculation based on the trailer. In the trailer we see the Mandalorian (For the sake fun, I'm calling him Mandy) meet another Mandalorian called Cara Dune, they fight, but as she's the second billed actor, I assume they work together. Also we see other gunslingers, possibly bounty hunters, which included a bug-eyed robot and Bill Burr. Yes, Bill Burr and also a group of Death Troopers lead by Giancarlo Esposito. So here's my two cents. Whatever Werner Herzog's character wants is very valuable, this has caused anyone random man with a blaster to cross paths with Mandy. I assume Giancarlo Esposito's character is hunting down Herzog. The scene with Herzog and his group of stormtroopers seems to be hiding out and Giancarlo's Death Trooper group seem to be looking over a massacre site, with both civillian and stormtrooper corpses. Also the series is set after Return of the Jedi, and as stated in Expanded Universe material, the Empire has splintered in their own groups. So, I assume that is what's happening. Characters

They also had the 501st Legion, arrive on set because they didn't have enough armour. That's cool.

So at the panel we only got the reveal of who Gina Carano and Carl Weathers is playing, but I'm going to bat by ear here. So Gina Carano is playing Cara Dune, a former Rebel shock trooper turned mercenary. I assume that she and Mandy are going to work with each other and possibly have a Romancing the Stone style relationship were they can't stand each other, but they secretly have the hots for one another. We also know Carl Weathers' characters is a man named Greef Carga. I assume he's Mandy's mentor, and random, thought, but he's going to betray Mandy. Could happen too early to tell, but no honour among thieves. Also we have Taika Waititi playing an IG droid, everyone assumes it's IG-88 and is him, so that's cool we get to see him, connects to the films. Also Nick Nolte is playing an Ugnaught, okay.

Now Mandy himself, I can see has a Clint Eastwood influence, that what they said at the panel. I also sense he's keeping that helmet on during the entire season, only showing it possibly at the end for a big reveal that he looks like the Latin lover guy from Game of Thrones. Other Stuff I'm Just Guessing

1. Clint Howard will appear in the episode directed by Bryce Dallas Howard. Clint Howard appears in everything Ron Howard directed, why not in something his daughter directed. 2. Bo-Katan or Sabine Wren will get a mention. One of the new canon's fan favourite Mandalorians, give them a reference. 3. Rachel House will be in the Taika Waititi. She's worked with Waititi before, so why not. 4. Boba Fett will get a passing mention.

5. Reference to Star Wars 1313. Maybe.

That's what I think will happen in the Mandalorian. But this is wild man guessing so anything could happen.
